Athearn has two Bicentennial engines that I know of. They seem to be the same engine with slightly different colors. One has a gloss finish with a dark blue and the other has a dull finish with a light blue. They may be the same and only be from different dye lots however I have seen several of each so I know they were made in quantity.
This is a powered and dummy set that I built. The dummy is an old powered chassis with the motor removed so the light works. My wife painted the handrails for me and this pair of engines look very nice in the dark under the Christmas tree.
